Sorry for the late posting but if you fancy an excuse for a ride and live in the South Midlands here are two events this weekend that may suit. Saturday 6th June, Yardley Gobion Festival of Transport on the Coffee Pot Field (on the High Street, next to the village pub, The Coffee Pot!) from midday, an informal gathering of old vehicles, no entry fees, pub open for food etc, very friendly. Ride your Enfield in and park up next to mine so I don't feel lonely! (actually, we have quite a few REOC member's bikes turning up!) Sunday 7th of June, Stony Stratford Classic Car Festival, this is a real cracker, the whole town is taken over by old vehicles, mostly cars but large numbers of interesting bikes too (which have their own area in the Market Place) and plenty of food and drink places open in the town. Both these events are to raise money for charities if you are feeling generous...

Pomps, it'll be a pleasure to meet you, I'll have my 1953 Meteor and the 1966 Mk1 Interceptor if I can run back to the garage in time!

Thanks Pomps, I'll give notice of a few more events in this general area later. Twin engines? Few and far between I'm afraid, you might be better just buying a Twin?
