Hi Paul. I've just come back from the Reindeer having expected a run out with the Yorkshire boys tonight. I arrived at 7.00pm and no Enfieds just some VMCC people and a 1956 MG owner trying to get some old bikes to go to a local rotary organised "show" later in the year. Fired up Hitchocks site on my return to Manc. and re-read your post about the evening run on the 21st. Felt distinctly daft/Irish/stupid/idiotic or all four at once when I realised the ride out organised on the 21st was in June and not May. Still nice run over the Pennines from Manc. and I now know exactly where the Reindeer is. We will eventually meet up again sometime when I can get my act together and learn to read posts accurately. Hi Ian you missed a grest run out yesterday like 270 miles for me so more for you . We all make mistakes lol.We will be taking a run soon through North wales on a route by John Moulton or fylde coast which I will be leading look forward to seeing you soon. Keep in touch 01706356609 Noel

hi ian,we only do weekday rideouts on the third thursday of every month but at least you found the reindeer hope you sampled a half of jubilee its a top brew from the caphouse brewery,as noel says we all make mistakes ,or took a wrong turn at some point as noel said we had a great run sunday most of us missed the nuclear bunker as I took the wrong turn only to find that steves back rack & top box had left there mounts and fell off the bike (rack metal fatigue)don,t like to tell this tale... but i,ve managed to kill the diesel bike,the flywheel side main bearing has let go !!! not causing any major damage but causing a rattle,the largest bearing in the engine kapput incidentley the bearing was a N.T.N MADE IN JAPAN....all the chinese bearings are as they should be ,so its off to the bearing shop for a replacement tomorrow just in time before the BIG KNOCK diesel rally in west sussex ,just to add more fire a petrol 350 injun bullet could,t live with the diesel demon on sunday all the best paul.
