Any of you guys that come down to North Devon will know that so far as we're concerned the highway code only happens to other counties. Red lights are optional here, you only stop to use your mobile, you can go round roudabouts in either direction etc etc. Now this often ends in tears and having had two near misses over the weekend I think it's helmet cam time. Question is, which one? Ebay is awash with them and I have n't got a clue. I suspect I'm not alone in this. I need something to be used on sunny summer sundays for a couple of hours so weather proofing or long recording time is n't an issue. Bike is 6 volt so I don't want a lighter socket plug-in. Would a handlebar mount be better? I've a limited budget, max £50/60. Any suggestions please?

One of these crash helmets with rear view mirrors built in might be of more use:-

I bought a Qumox SJ4000. it`s a copy of the expensive ones but at a fraction of the price. It comes with a full set of mounting hardware such as body belt mount. helmet mount, handlebar clip and mount etc. it`s HD1080P compliant and also comes with a waterproof case. Takes memory card up to 32GB, and comes in 7 different colours! Have a look on Amazon or E Bay. Don`t ask me how it performs as I havn`t tried it out on the bike yet.

From what I`ve seen from helmet camera videos, wear one and you will surely have an accident.
