I have no details of these bikes, perhaps some on here know/are the owners and/or bikes?

I think it was a one-off as the land that was used has been built
on, or re-purposed in some other way.

hitchcocks enfield day or is it?

Actually, I think those pictures are of one of the 2 Redditch Revisited meetings but I'm not sure which one. The reason that Hitchcocks haven't done another event (Allan tells me,) is that they've just been too busy over the last few years, building the new warehouse and just recently the new workshop facilities. The area that was used for the last event is still there so who knows?! As to the bikes, the V twin is a pre-war Model K (998 v-twin) in a 50s Bullet chassis, very nicely done and it was at our Home Counties Rally a couple of years ago. The Owner told me the later KX motor (1140cc) is too tall to go in the Bullet chassis. There is at least one other, owned by a well known REOC member in the northeast, (hi John!). The other bikes I don't recognise.

Mark, as stated in my posting, the date is 2003, at least that's the date on the back of the photos. And the tax disc on the v twin bullet expires in 2004.

The Hitchcocks Open Day was in 2006, you can see the pics in the Photo Gallery section. It doesn't look like your pics so I think you've got Redditch revisited mixed up!

Mark M is spot on, it certainly is Redditch Revisited in the photos. The V I recall that the V Twin in the Bullet frame was owned then by Pete & Jan Jacket from around Ashburton in Devon and is now owned by Paul Brand. REgards Dick.

Hi Mark, I wasn't using "Enfield Day" as a title for the event, it was just an event for Enfields! So no mix up. But thanks for the reminder of the actual title. I am hoping to get down to Mad Mikes' gathering next month, be nice if it was a similar day to this one, weather wise at least!

Caboose, is Paul Brand a user of this forum? It would be nice to have some better pitures of the bike, and more details.

Nettshubby, I think Paul Brand (I forgot his name so thanks Caboose!) is actually a VMCC member and not a REOC member but I could be wrong there. When I last saw it the bike was suffering from an odd seizure after a run, apparently Paul has identified the problem (the magneto armature winding sealing compound was melting and sticking the mag, a condition known as Shellacitis apparently,) and sorted it. By the way, the Redditch Revisited events were held at Arrow Park in Redditch so nothing to do with H's at all, but I hope that at least one of the 3 different event organisers (Redditch Council, Gordon May or Hitchcocks,) will do something similar again. In the meantime the forthcoming REOC International Rally will be a pretty good line up of machines I'm sure!
