I have often wanted to print a message posted on this forum, either to paper or to a PDF file which I can save. Either way, it produces a lot of pages as the sidebar material is also included. In a computer magazine (Computeractive issue 445) there was a recommendation for a website www.printfriendly.com This strips out the sidebar material and allows you to resize or delete text, print to PDF or to a printer. You can copy the URL of the Hitchcocks page and paste it into a box on the Printfriendly web page. Alternatively, if the www.printfiendly.com page is set as a bookmark or favourite, then clicking that while you are in the Hitchcocks page will give you the Printfriendly version.

Highlight text, copy & paste to LibreOffice writer (or MS if you prefer) works for me

Yep, copy and paste the text into a text document on your computer. 'Notesblock' or something similar. Any text program will do.
