Hi guys, just a reminder to all you motorists out there that the Max.speeds for HGV ( and tractors) will increase as from April 5th --------- ( http://www.motoringresearch.com/car-new ... 1202957633 )..So take EXTRA care when overtaking them !!

As most HGVs are driven on the limiter (90kph/56mph) on dual carriageway there is no increase in speed
As for the 10mph increase from 40 to 50mph on national speed limit single carriageways, it is a lomg overdue measure and the Police States of Lincolnshire and North Wales will have to look elsewhere for their victims.

about time too.as a HGV driver the 40mph speed limit for us on s/c ways is a pain for us and the queue of motorists sitting behind us.
