...didn't stop the RERCN meeting!

Despite the appalling weather, four hardy Enfield enthusiasts braved the cold and wet to meet up at the Whitlingham Broad Visitor Centre in Norwich, swap biking stories and generally have a natter in pleasant surroundings.

Well done for turning out on such a rotten day chaps!

Next RERCN outing is an Easter Monday (April 6th) ride-out to the VMCC's Shakedown event at Tibenham Aerodrome a few miles south of Norwich. Royal Enfields, vintage bike 'racing' of other marques, a cafe and an aerodrome that's been in use since before the First World War and home to the Royal Flying Corps, the RAF and the USAAF. It promises to be a great ride out. Watch out for a flyer (!) with further details here, and at the RERCN Facebook and blog pages.

That was my first RERCN meeting and I can confirm they're a nice bunch. Thanks for making me welcome.
Hopefully some better weather next time.

You're very welcome Roger. It was a pleasure to see you and your lovely machine.

Hope you're able to make the Tibenham Run on Easter Monday (April 6).

Hi Roger Good to meet you on Sunday and thanks for the compliment. As you say norwichbullet," the weather was somewhat inclement but still a good morning out."

Roger - A pleasure to meet you and share experiences, despite the weather........!

Quite unbelievably, it got even worse in the afternoon once I'd reached home !

Hope to see you again at Tibenham.
