If you ever want or need to do a full repaint you can buy the pukka Nato paint from army and navy stores. The last time I looked 5 litres was about £40 from the ex-army stores at Ripley.

Don't know if you caught my post from a week or so ago, but the tale of learning my 1994 bullet is in the following link.
I so nearly sold it again, but now, riding my bullet and doing it well feels great.
