I have now sold my last Enfield so I will bid you all farewell so you now no longer have to put up with my rants. Thanks for the help and advice that has been given to me over the years. Now only have 3 Hondas and a CZ left.

I think I would rather see you stay, even if you have sold your last Enfield.



The forum won't be quite the same without you, the guy that taught me never to buy an Electra X. A piece of advice that I will take to the grave!

Hi Norm, your Enfields may have all gone but you still have your Enfield knowledge and wisdom that we have all benefited from. This site will be a much lesser source of solutions to our problems without your input. You don't need an Enfield to contribute so please stay in touch, besides they get under your skin and who knows the unique sight or sound of our machines may one day bring you back to the fold. Thanks for all the help and advice you have given us. Ian

Maybe we should all club together to give a couple of quid and buy Norm an Electra X as a gift to persuade him to stay

Ear, Wot-yew-onna-baht-matey ??........I might be gormless but we can't afford to be "NORM-LESS"-----------I'd rather you stay on in the form of a knowledgeable Elder Statesman and Consultant ( I bet even Alan H and the crew at Chadwick End have used some of your tips from time-to-time ?? )...BUT, if you must go then lets raise a tinny together ( rather apt, given the thin metal Enfields use Ha-ha !!) and say--" G'day, Cobber !!--------Fair Dinkum !--------and Ride Safe !!"------------------ Best regards from Alan R, Telford, Shropshire, UK..( with both Bullets STILL off the road and now using a Honda CG125 every day !!)...........

Sorry to hear that Norm, you should have kept one to hang on the wall with a dartboard on it so you can throw things at it.
