Down at the Farmer's market last week, I bought a 6 foot tall chicken, coz I figured it was big enough to pull my Electra X, and so save me some petrol money.

But when I was on my way to work on the motorway yesterday, the rope broke and the chicken ran off, leaving me stranded in the middle lane.

The Police duly arrived and asked "What has happened to you?"


I told them my big hens gone.

The Electra X WAS the joke, but I bought one so the joke is on me

My mate bought an Electa X - how we all laughed!

Could they be that bad? I thought they looked pretty good, if looks are anything to go by.

I will give two hundred crispy pounds for any unwanted Electra X machines. Discretion assured, just drop them off here, I will not tell anyone who owned any of them previously.

BW, I'm guessing you'll be building a bonfire from unwanted helectras on Nov. 5th then?

BW I read you loud and clear, 200 crispys is a great deal, you get a couple of wheels, disc brake, forks, nacelle, and the big ticket item is the 5 speed box and clutch, rest can go in the bin lol

Paul the cheapest Electra I have seen sold out here was $1000 a couple of years ago with a blown big end, owner was so disgusted with it he just wanted it out of his life. I think the rest that are blown up are just pushed to the back of the shed and ignored because the don't seem to be turning up on ebay or gumtree
