Hi all, after months of correcting faults and putting right so called improvements (ahem)from a previous owner ive finally got my 500 army bullet running sweetly.Had the first proper ride out on it this sunday and didnt have to come home in the back of my van.Shame its so late in the year but i intend to ride when ever possible in the winter.
Wont bore you with the catalog of disasters but christ knows why i still love this bike.
Regards chris

Well done Chris, was out today on my Interceptor (the every day BMW is suffering from the same Previous Owner "improvements" as you!) and was reminded again that these bikes are for riding, so lets enjoy them while we can!

Chris, it wouldn't bore us to hear about your work. It would be more like a reference manual or, at the very least, a self-help group

Chris as Michael says we would love to hear about it, the never ending lists of bodges done over the years to bikes is always amusing, although I find a lot of the things done to Enfields should not happen because unlike the older days before the internet, people had to write a letter to some supplier somewhere in the world trying to get parts so any bodge to get it going was needed but not any more

Don't be too hasty Richy.. Its the black paint which prevents your nuts falling off.... 0)
