The Garden of Eden (or) Hollyville cafe result!

Last night was very cold around here, and although this morning was sunny, it was still chilly as I ventured out on Tornado, with the hope that some of the other British bikes would turn up.

Well, the weather forecast had been a sunny day as the bikes continued to turn up, with no appreciable drop on last weeks numbers.

Even before I had managed to order a no.2 with beans and a coffee, I heard a chugging, and with great excitement, I spotted another military bullet! Having completed my order, I rushed outside and quickly shifted Tornado next to the other bike, before spotting that Les's bullet was parked 2 away from us. That made 3 from the RE stable, a first!

Bright warm sun and beautiful motorcycles. Who wants to eat inside?

Although another 500, the newer bullet on the left has the 350 deeper valanced mudguard. I want one now!

The other bullet military bullet and it's friend the blue Yamaha did not stay long, and so I moved Tornado next to les's Bullet (ALSO a 500 with 350 valanced mudguard, GRRRRR!)

Usually, I keep an eye on every bike that enters, but one managed to sneak in the far entrance, and my... Did my eyes open when I spotted it!

Born underground in Bradford On Avon, This Interceptor Mark 2, was the last model made by Royal Enfield.

The vast majority of these were destined for the American market, but this is one of the few genuine British sold and registered bikes, Making it a bit of a rarity.

Les and I met Kim, owner of the well presented Interceptor.

That made 4 RE's, with the Interceptor covering redditch, Tornado, as a classic albion 4 speed, the other military which was electric start 5 speed, and les's EFI bullet. Thanks to you all for bringing them, they looked good, showed the others that the RE mark exists and personally made my month!

YES! We finally did it, YAY!

Here is a selection of today's gathering

Never seen a Panther in the flesh before, have now! YAY!

A neat little Triumph

An AJS with Matchless engine. It was nice to see that it's owner had given it a coat, seeing that the day had started so cold!

A very interesting BMW

Again, thanks to all that attended, and even with the colder weather, so far it seems that no one is keeping the bikes in.
