I've just been clearing out and demolishing an old shed at my Mum's. I put the shed up in 1968 so it hasn't done too badly, though it didn't need much persuasion to fall to bits.
Among all the accumulated crap I came across a half-used tube of Wellseal which has to have been there at least 38 years. Still liquid and seems fine.
Shelf life? What shelf life?

Well the manufactures do say wellseal never sets hard making it easy to part joints on cylinder heads and gaskets that need to be parted again. That just proves how good it is.

Hi PETE F--------------the "life-of-the-shelf" must be 38 years then ??----------- obviously not from B & Q ??-------------------- The Little Red Rooster's still going fine-----1,500 miles with me at the moment-------------have you the riders manual at all ??-------------Should the fuel gauge be active all the time or only when the ign. is turned on ??-----------Cheers,--- Alan R
