Hollyville cafe result!
Today, some more nice bikes turned up. When I arrived, there were an unusual number of Harley-Davidson bikes growling around the parking area, plus a couple of cars, but as time went by, the cars and growlers left, leaving quite a selection of British pride parked on their various stands.
Probably due to the overcast weather, there were a few less bikes this morning, as some of the 'Sunday bike' brigade failed to come, but still a very impressive turnout.
I arrived early which was due to having learnt the route by heart, but forgetting to leave later! On arrival, I was lucky to bag the only outside table with a view over the parking area.
Before I let the icing on the cake out of the bag, let's see a few of the bikes.
I was sitting at the table when this BSA came nosing up, was it after my breakfast?
It looked so appealing, that I stopped eating to go and take a proper photo
The next bike to try it's luck with the food was a Triumph!
Next, a walk around!
Interesting green beading on the wheel rims, A very attractive bike.
Another very solid looking BSA.
Triumph, BSA, Matchless. Nice selection.
A very sporty, bouncy looking BSA.
Ah, yes! The icing on the cake!
Les turned up with his very nicely customised 500 EFI bullet.
Nothing has escaped these two! Those tiger's eye pilot lamps seem to be scrutinising everything.
PURE CLASS! Right out the front, next to the sign, opposite the doorway. Right at the entrance to the cafe.
Eventaully a BMW's owner, squeezed his bike on the end, but it looked a bit 'put out'.
So a thanks to Les and his bullet for coming, and finally, Royal Enfield made a stand!
Now, if the weather is fine for next weekend...
P.S. Meant 21st. I would welcome Chugchug if he were to turn up!
