Hi all,any info on the thunderbird,comments? there are acouple on ebay at the moment,there is one ,a 2011 , described as new, 40 miles on clock, seems cheap @ £2.100 thanks,Bob Hazlehurst
Bob, I haven't seen the listing so apologies if this is covered in the item description but the reason it might be cheap is that the T'bird was (is?) an Indian home market model and therefore not built to EU standards which will require an inspection and uprating process to register in the UK. Apart from the inspection various parts need replacing (mirrors tyres and lights with EU marks etc,) and some need rectification (tank cap etc) I believe people who've done this say it actually isn't too hard, try a search based on SVA (Single Vehicle Approval) with the DVLA.
