.............Is that allright? Having posted on here with the usual various faults i thought i should say that.......Everything is ok. The bike is running well and i've managed to get out on it a few times and even ventured into work. Surprisingly i feel a bit guilty about this but being an 'RE' i'm sure it won't be long before the inevitible happens. Happy riding everyone!!!

Great to hear tales of non-woe. And you might find that with regular fettling/servicing/etc the reliability will surprise you.

Hi LEE, --------- it's a good job our bikes can't read this or they'll all want to be copying yours !!....and can you just imagine the knock-on implications ??... Suddenly there will be 1,000's more bikes on the road on a regular basis, demand for petrol will soar as more people buy a "reliable" old Enfield, Insurance premiums will go through the roof (Make-up your own reasons for that one--- the companies usually do anyway !), and this forum will fold as Mr. H's business collapses due to the drastic fall-off in sales....................Your apology accepted and we look forwards to normal service from you and like-minded riders any minute now, I would think...............oopss, my clutch cable has just failed !!!.LoL !!
