I was out yesterday evening to a huge gathering of bikes and classic cars at the harbour in the old Viking capital town, Roskilde. The weather was lovely.

There were literally thousands of people and countless vehicles, both two and four wheeled.

The whole thing is totally unorganised and advertised by word of mouth. It happens every thursday throughout the summer.


Thumper got to meet some of his older brothers and I met some of the guys from the Royal Enfield Denmark club.

The red and white 350 Bullet was first registered in Iran and reimported to Denmark. It's from 1956. I couldn't resist a picture of the E-type and the two lovely ladies in it..

Hi EXILE-------- great photos and good selection of interesting machinery !! ....BUT, is there something wrong with your camera ??.............It appears to have missed out the entire content of the sky !!...........Over here it's filled with big, black, fluffy things with wet stuff dropping down all day...

Hi Exile... Just saw your report on our great day out. Nice pixs; especially the clear, blue sky, which to you UK folks might be as rare as it is to us. It was a special evening and as so it attracts loads of visitors. When we have the english wheather only a fraction will turn up. Next time the wheather is fine we might go there again; maybe with you as a new member to the RE club of Denmark... Jacob
