Just logged on to Ebay and the first screen you get is to change your password. Ebay maintain that they have had no issues regarding the breach but better safe than robbed. Remember, strong passwords and a different one for each site. I know it's a pain but it's the only way to keep the bottom feeding lowlife robbing bas****s out.

Most Important always make sure your E-mail password is very very secure and totally independent and unique from all other Passwords. If someone gets that and changes it they can then get control of most your other site passwords by simply going to web sites clicking on lost password link and getting sent resets to all your other sites that you used that E-Mail address for.

I've just had a helpful chap with an Indian accent on the phone offering to remotely fix my (totally non-existant) 'puter hardware problem - all I have to do is give him my card details and pin to ensure that he's talking to the correct person! He was f***ed off out of it in no uncertain terms and I left the 'phone off the hook so the call was n't disconnected. Just how stupid do these people think we are? But then I suppose there are a lot of suckers out there to make it worthwhile for these scumbags.
