I was wondering if anyone has used Enfield zone in India. They have a couple of parts that our hosts dont list. Was just wondering what they are like to deal with.
Thanks Davie

Not tried them in particular but a lot of stuff from suppliers in India is not good.
Blimey, the OME isn't that brilliant!
At least with Mr H you have a comeback if something is amiss.
Having had my fingers burnt a couple of times I won't be bothering again.

Depends what you require i suppose.. A vital engine part machined within tolerance ?????? Obviously don't waste your money…
Gasket sets and consumables are cheap and worth a punt… but honestly even cables i"d rather buy english made from our host…
I'd be interested to know what you are thinking of sending for? if thats not a rude question...

Hi Gwilly. Its not a rude question. I am looking at overland type pannier frames . My thinking was that its probably cheaper to buy them from India than to buy them here and modify them. Also black finished handlebars (I hate polishing chrome)

Whatever you get won't fit, not sure of the pannier frames you want but a mate bought a set several years ago and everytime he come over I seem to be having to weld them up again, because the tubing is too light and vibration kills it

Bought a full clutch and basket from an indian ebay source. It was perfect. . . . I regularly buy here at hitchcocks and love the company. On this one occasion however I was pretty hard up, and couldn't resist a great price.
