I think it was AlanR who wanted to see pictures of Thumper now that I've pretty much done all the modifications I wanted to. So here they are.

I took a trip out to the coast in some usually warm and spectacularly sunny weather for this time of the year over here. A lovely afternoons ride around our island.

All the pictures below are 'clickable', which means that if you click on the picture, it will open a new window to show the picture at full size.

Many thanks indeed EXILE-------- that's a nice, purpose-looking machine you have there.... If at anytime you fancy using a shorter silencer than the standard one then the BULLET 65 one will go on or the Electra one ( with those two small holes showing at the end ) will do as well..........

Thanks Alan. I don't know about the exhaust.. he sounds like thunder at the moment.. lovely note. Deep and throaty.

And he gets away like a scalded cat!

Thanks for that, really did want to see Thumper completed!

The only bit that I would have changed is the tail light to the curvy 1950's one, but... he looks great!

I guess that 'clickable pics' is lesson 4?

I knew I was tempting fate with clickable pictures..!! It's easy if you know how... Let me know if you want the secret.

Seriously though, he does look good and sound good and drives well. I'm pleased with the result of the winters work. I parked up beside someones Aprilia.. which is one of those throw-away jobs.. pffft! Guess who got people asking about the bike.

Yes, I know i've posted it before, but this photo really does sum up what you said about parking next to other bikes and the usual resultant questions!

It's called, "Who's the cutest then?".
