This coming Saturday, 1st March, is the official re-opening of the Mallory Park race circuit by the new event organisers. The day starts at 10:30 and entry is free. There will be displays of F1 cars, race bikes, classic bikes etc etc, and a chance to meet the new team. In case you haven't heard they are also hosting a Mallory Park Bikefest on the weekend of the 11th, 12th, and 13th of July to replace the Festival of 1000 Bikes event which the VMCC cancelled. See you all there on Saturday? You can follow the Mallory Park development on Facebook. Simply type Mallory Park in the search box.

A fine ride on a fine day, just sorry I could not get there earlier. So much to see and do apart from spending a while with the Mad One (who is looking fit) & his minder. Forgot about photos until it was time for me to head off. Then I did get a few shots after I blagged a ride on the circuit, something I last did about 12 years ago, never thought I'd get the chance again ... .. ..

Hi Bryan. Hey I was there, as you know, with my mindert and I had a great day. The bikes and the cars were wonderful.........but the people were wehat made the day. Of course you know Sarah and I were there........something to do with beer and all that. It was great to see you and the others Bryan. Like you we came out via the circuit and took a set of pictures similar to yours. Sarah was driving her ASBO and she really enjoyed winding it up round Gerrards. See you soon mon ami.

I hope the new organisers are going to see sense and get rid of those silly "bus stop" chicanes! Mallory was such a good circuit in its original form!
