I'm so impressed with this little torch that I just have to tell someone!
It's only three and five-eigths inch long and one inch dia and is incredible! The brightness and coverage is absolutely amazing (as is the claimed battery life) and takes just one AA battery! It's chunky alloy and zooms from wide to spot. I bought it from Amazon for just £2.56! It's called a CREE Q5 and is ideal for the toolbox or pocket.

You didn't mention wether you owned the company or not!
But seriously, LED technology has come a long way, most of my bikes bulbs are LED now, extremely low current and very bright.

The lighting power of 'CREE LED' is truly incredible & I'm told the latest ones don't throw that rather odd 'square' beam on zoom. However I find the battery life nowhere near the makers claims even with the latest lithium cells. That said, they are truly amazing but I fear this may ultimately be their undoing as already reports of blinding (temporary?)when used by idiots may lead to controls. For now it's an essential part of my toolkit & night fishing gear.

There are certainly some bicycle led lights about now the output of which are blinding. More so than a car on high beam. Trouble is it makes it difficult to judge their distance and speed. Shouldn't complain though, most people don't bother with any.

I thought you might like to see a picture of it...

It looks like it could be mounted on the handlebars..?

Uh-oh.. Buyer beware. I went to look at the 'questions' section about the mounting bracket. Found this:
No the mount does not come and when you email them they say it is an Amazon mistake and that the mount is not part of their offering?
I pointed out to them that this is false advertising and illegal in the USA but they continue to use this misleading picture.
All you will get is the flashlight, and a lot of grief from the vendor. If you want the mount buy it here, comes in about a week,
instead of over a month, and you get the mount.
When he says 'buy it here', he means this...NowAdvisor®Q5 CREE 240 Lumen LED Bike Bicycle Headlight Torch
