Ride out Sunday next 15 April leaving Birch Hotel, Manchester Road, Heywood, at 9.00am. The ride will take us through Trawden Forest to Pateley Bridge for lunch. Returning through Hebden Bridge. Total distance there about 60 miles. Weather forecast is sunny spells with perhaps the odd shower, so keep your fingers crossed and prey.

Hi John, I am back from Ullapool and NW Scotland so all being well I should be in the Hotel car park at 9.00am on Sunday, looking forward to the run out. If Grunda 12 picks up this thread and is going on this run could you bring the levers along with you we keep missing each other. I went to the Bury steam thing last sunday afternoon but very few bikes were there and mine was the only RE. Maybe I should have got there earlier! Ian Martin

Just thought I'd mention, I took the Model G out for it's first proper ride today after it's rebuild, about 40 miles. Grunda will be relieved to know that after it, the bike has developed a small oil leak, but it comes from the oil drain plug on the sump. I'll tighten it up. The horn now doesn't work on the old battery. I think the fault lies with the horn, not the batteries.

hi john ,noel & mikel i will be going past johns house in delph about 7.45am then over to noels for the butty,i will be on the diesel so will be steady away,after pately bridge i,m going on to squires all the best paul.p.s chris will you not be able to make the ride out to squires on thursday? not to worry have fun in carlisle!!
