Hi Paul, long time no see but life gets hectic and things have to be dealt with. Anyway in answer to your query you will need a visa which will cover you for 90days. Should be long enough for your trip. Also have the following, originals only but I also cary copies which I keep separately...V5 (log book), full insurance docs valid for the country you are visiting (a translation in to the local language can be helpful), full driving licence docs, including the paper bit, medical insurance, roadside assistance and recovery cover (talk to Carol Nash) and a pocket full of local wonga. I have a friend who goes to Poland and Chech Republic for the same reason and seems to get what he wants each trip.
Enjoy the trip
Ian

Err another few necessities a map at least two credit and debit cards the providers of which have authorised use abroad. A full set of bulbs for a combi I think you will also need a warning triangle and hi vis. Most of all plenty of time coz itll take forever at the speedyou will be able to travel.(methinks top speed 55mph so average 30 mph for 2000 miles each way do the math)

Wow! Ukraine? Good luck.

I hope it doesn't use all the spares up on the trip back!

Merry Christmas.
