I must ask, why did no one talk about Enfield? I have watched a number of programs about British bikes and I do not hear much about Enfield.

The same reason no-one mentioned Sun, Greeves, James, FannyBarnet, AJS, Ariel, Ambassador and myriad other Brit manufacturers. There were more makers than minutes in the show and these sort of programmes are rarely made by enthusiasts or "experts" (an Ex being a has been and a spert a drip under pressure).
