I am new to the pleasures of the enfield and gauging by other peoples posts they are not so much an essantial form of transport but a thing of pleasure with in many cases only a low millage covered every year.Almost as much pleasure is got from flipping through the catalogue to sort out the bits for the next improvement / repair. With the on line catalogue a paper catalogue may seem redundant but it is not quite the same sitting in front of the computer/smart phone/tablet although being very effient as it is leafing though a paper catalogue.I got my 2013 catalogue sent free with an order I placed. To be honest I was surprised as I thought it would have to be directly paid for. They must be expensive to produce in particular when an on line alternative is available. However I would be happy to pay for a paper copy. And they are very useful at birthday/christmas time when you can be seen looking through it to give inspiration to those who want to get you a present you really want.

Many an impulsive purchase has been made after a session flicking through the pages in the ' reading room', not so easily done with an electronic version!

I agree totally with Frank, although the pages of the catalogues are too glossy to be of any practical use in said reading room! Cheers, Paul.
