Paul - thanks for the latest mag - I cannot think of a better way to spend a dollar. I particularly liked the pic of the bullet beside the bridge - great idea for a picture blog. A long shot but do you happen to know what brand of metal box pannier that is on the bike. I have been looking for some for my bullet and they look about right. I will then search for a second hand pair as they seem to be incredibly expensive.

Hi Rusty, The panniers fitted to that bike are actually handmade! You can read how I made them in Issue 1 of the magazine. Quite inexpensive actually. Back issues are at www.greenlane.biz. BTW, I got the first readers Bridge photo in today and it looks really good, so the idea could catch on! Please send your photos to [email protected] saying where the bridge is. Best wishes, Paul.

Thanks Paul, successfully downloaded, I'll read it later. Bought them all so far and they make an interesting read.

thanks paul - that's rings a bell in my rubbish memory bank. I think I downloaded that one to a machine at a job I used to have - I should have seen the redundancy coming as I spent a lot of time scanning the internet for enfield related material. I will download issue one at work tomorrow!!!

Sometimes throw-overs are better than fixed panniers, especially when filtering through traffic. Old army backpacks make cheap throw-overs...
