I saw an article in today's Metro about research being done to make road tyres from the high rubber content of Russian dandelions... allegedly much cheaper than current production methods.
Any thoughts?

Hmm - tread strength might be bit weedy! I wonder if the 'rubber' will be reinforced with 'petal' strands! Might stem the rising cost of replacement tyres and may well be a blooming good idea! A growth in the number of tyre suppliers must be good as long as the standards are not too agricultural.
