Hi all.

Just a quick introduction and hello.

Been an avid lurker on this forum for a long time and a HUGE Bullet nut for even longer.

I'm in the process of building a "612'd" and Ace Magnumed bullet bobber from the ground up and look forward to hearing all your advice I'll no doubt be asking for and also hearing your opinions on the bike once done.

Anyway, looking forward to getting to know all you fellow Enfield enthusiasts!

Steve

Hi all.

thanks for the warm welcome.

Grunda12. An ace magnumed 612 is a stroked 500 using all of Hitchcocks parts and also Ace Fireball cams and Head so when its eventually done it'll be a very tractable engine. I'm trying to squirrel away enough to buy the new 5 speed albion gearbox because I am totally in love with it and think it will be the perfect compliment to the perfect engine!

The frame is a one-off hardtail frame with a high quality springer front end from the states. Basically a typical retro bobber/chopper whatever the hell people want to label it :o) Its just a bike I've been building in my head for years and now am slowly making it a reality.

Its going to be a really beautiful bike! No photo's, keeping this one secret until done ;o)

Hello Bulletbobber! I too have been leaning towards that kind of look and was an avid follower of a blog detailing a project you may find inspiring. Unfortunately he never finished it as far as I can tell but its worth a look:

hi BulletBobber

You should have a real beast there.I love your wheels.

Mine is hitcock 612 stroker crank with the ace fireball top end too and I am very happy with my performance.

I dont know how to put a photo up yet but I do have a you tube clip of it in action.

speedo needle is a bit slow to register as it is a gps unit, but shows it up round 90 mph a couple of times.160 kph or 100mph is at 3 oclock on the speedo.100kph or 60 mph is 12 oclock.

It will run comfortably at between 70 to 80mph all day on highway.Which is a vast improvement over stock.
