Alan L as you apologised twice you are forgiven - sounds a blast frankly anything that puts a smile on the face means one less trip to the GP.
Alan R good choice if it is a Tiger - less stressed, cheaper, is one or two carbs, looks good.
I have a Venom Clubman in 65 trim, and a Beam S8 light bobber. I had Three Hinckley bonnies - superb but dull which is now my view on modern retro bikes. We had a club run here last week with three Thruxtons and various other retros, all superbly presented, reliable, well engineered etc and folk just ignored them.

Hi Noel, Good to hear that you are enjoying the Guzzi and are getting some miles under your belt - hope it leaves you time for egg butties! Your question about which bike you would have as well as an Enfield in your garage is a good one. I bought my first Woodsman to partner the Kawasaki W650 that I had owned and loved for about 5 years and 30,000 miles. Trouble with me is that if I have two (or more) bikes in the garage, one becomes the favourite and the other rarely gets ridden. I suppose that the only solution for me is to have two bikes that have very different purposes (say an Enfield and a trailie or a big tourer). Having 2 retro style bikes doesn't work for me - to each his own! Enjoying every minute on whatever bike you are on at the time is the secret of contentment.

Hi guys-------- It's the single carb TIGER TR7V, and as you rightly say it's a lot less bother than the twin Mk2 Concentrics that the Bonneville has.....also the rear calliper is mounted in the upper position !!!

A BSA Road Rocket and a Golden Flash. I'd be happy with either one in the shed beside Thumper.

Exile, I would have an A10 anyday over my Series 1 Inter. Only thing about Inters is that they are a rare oddball beast of a thing with a huge looking, in your face motor. The name certainly out performs the hype around the name

Hi guys---------- PETE F, hard to imagine that very bike once stood, polished and gleaming in a shop window ??? But now here's the rub !!--- continue riding it as is OR, give it the full restoration whilst there are still lots of original parts to play with ???
