hi all ,some of us from the west riding are attending the bury bike show on sunday,anyone from the south lancs branch fancy it ? we will be coming over the border at 9.30 am all the best paul

Wish Id known but Ive arranged to match the Electra against flying haggis near Stranraer I should be going up shap by that time . Wish me luck

flying haggis ogri have you been at the qc again ,the magnets went down storm at last nights meeting ,although ken managed to break a big one seperating them with his thumb nail all the best paul.

Paul,
Glad to see you, and the others from the other side of the great divide, at the Bury Bike show.
Thank you for switching off the side lights on my bike, it saved me a major problem, had the battery gone compleatly flat..... It started OK.
I do not know about you, but I thought that it was a very poor show, with over half the available show area being empty.... and they were turning bikes away, because they have brought in a new rule of only allowing bikes registered before 1980.
Thats 32 years, I think that if they must have a cut off date for "classic bikes" of say 1995, I would be more realastic, and enable then to fill the show ground, and put on a better show for the public...

hi martin,glad your battery was ok ,i aggree if they,d let all bikes in it would have been ok as the showing area was half empty,we went to the whistling tree after the show up on the moors near burnley,we got caught up in rain,does it always rain in lancashire? all the best paul.

Don't go west into the Pennines in April with an open face lid, no eye protecton and no waterproofs!
