I do like the look of a US Indian, although not this one! In fact I have the bits of a Chief lying about... I think the seller is asking too much for a scruffy non-runner especially "no paperwork", what, not even a Customs declaration, that's going to be fun! This bike has been up for sale for about 6 months so maybe someone might make an offer?

Ha ha! Actually it's the usual story, I bought a project (at a reasonable price to be fair,) and then discovered that a lot of the work had been done in haste (powder coat over bent/worn brackets etc,) and some pattern bits were just useless, some of the other bits were fine but for different models and the numbers didn't match... So I ended up buying another matching engine and frame off Alan and then some yokes came up and before you know it... another Chief project anyone???

Looks like an interesting bike. Expect the owner was a colourful character as well.

Pity theres no history or paperwork with it, will be a devil to obtain registration later after you've spent thousands.

Motors had a hard life by the look of the oil stains on the crankcases/gearbox. May help when disassembling..

Check out that horn bolted to the crash bar... Like i say, bit of a character in its day...
