Hey guys just to let you know the Humber Bridge is now FREE for bikes! Even free for bikes and trailers! I live in Hull and had me first free ride into Lincolnshire today. Did a run around Scunny, and the River Trent in glorious sunshine. The Bullet ran well and only the athritis spoilt things a bit, but hey it's spring, the sun's shining and now BRIDGE IS FREE! (Cars £1.50 hah!).

I love toll booths, slowly pulling off my gloves and carfully wedging them under the folk yolk, undoing and removing my rucksack and knocking my gloves on the floor, unzipping my jacket and fumbling in all my pockets for my wallet, handing over a £20 pound note (sorry havn't got anything smaller), dissmounting the bike to recover my gloves and slowly putting on all me kit before looking back at the long queue off irrate car drivers. It's even better if ther's a gang of you.

Hey Mike - You would have LOVED the Humber Bridge before the lifting of tolls. The price for bikes was (can you believe this) £1:10p!!!! Not only did you have to rummage around for the quid but then find 10p!
Barton Bike Nite was a right laaarf! Thousands of bikes all holding up cars and lorries whilst everyone hunted around their pockets for that illusive 10p.
Shame in one way that those days are gone....
