In 2008 I sold my first ever motor bike a 2006 bullet 65 which I bought from new. Instantly regretting selling the bike after handing over the keys I have been on a motorbike ownership journey since. 5 years later and 10 bikes yes 10 motorbikes later I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my first ever royal enfield on eBay looking even better than when I parted with her. Instantly hitting the buy it now price and a week later I collected her ,and after a clean she is now safely back in my garage waiting to be taken out. The log book as me as the previous keeper now , I am at my motorbike journey,s end . No more this is it I have the one I regretted letting go 5 years ago. UNBELIEVABLE !!!!

Reds, never say never.... once you have it safely ensconced in the garage and time passes, you may like the look of the cafe racer or maybe a 612 may come your way..

The 65 may stay but i bet there will be a stable mate in the next two years.... happy days and welcome back, gwilly

Well done Reds, For many years I had hoped I could perhaps buy back the Norton Commando I sold in 1978 but alas it was not to be. I found out it was exported to USA some 20 years ago.
I've given up all hope of being back with my long lost love!

It's strange really. I sold my Bantam 3 years ago (I'd owned it for over 30 years), but I still check its status on the DVLA website (It's still on the road!). The thing is; I don't want it back. I never want to see it again. It's not because it was a bad bike (it wasn't. It was a great bike). It's because I don't want to see what has been done to it. I'd hate to see if it's become an unloved rusting hulk, or an over restored show machine.
