hi to peter & alan ,firstly peter life in the slow lane is GREAT!and i can tell you this i recently lead a group of riders to stafford & back and totally lost the rest of the group coming back from the show, after a while i pulled into a layby & smoked a small cigar before they managed to catch me up ,and alan if those 3 dolly birds turn up at my new club a divorce could be on the cards!!also i have not thrown the teddy out of the cot i,m just fed up of the west riding reoc seen ,some members have totally different ideas of what a motorcycling club is about if i only get 3 commited individuals to my new club i will be happy!!!so anybody wishing to come when i announce kick off day be prepared to go riding regular not talk about riding etc
atb paul.

Hi Paul--- I was thinking of trying the "Shropshire Bullet Bash" rides again this year but I was made aware of one particular character who will deliberately turn up on a modern bike, just to be confrontational---------- so I'm not going ahead, but continue with the close group of friends that I have known down the years... I want to enjoy what time I might have left for riding !!!

Hi guys--------Hello NORM, I also ride in "open" meetings as well and have no problems with any machine turning up---in fact the more diverse the better in those circumstances, but when a ride is advertised specifically for one type (make or model)then it's done for a reason ie}-- a chance for those owners to meet and enjoy that particular type.....I'm fully in favour of BOTH events as they promote and encourage the art of motorcycling as a whole......What we don't want is some clown arriving with the intention of deliberately being confrontational and spoiling the day for all concerned.....Anyway, here's wishing all the best for Paul and the new club......... PS, That's my new bike-- the girl in the middle is my wife and the other two are her cousins who live with us !! ( IN MY DREAMS !!) Oh well, back to reality.....another leak, another rattle to identify ( and that's just ME !!)
