have just been down the yard to Q branch and while looking over the DRB406 and the helectra now with new stand spring ,i was mulling what to do next so i went and bought the latest classic bike guide except for franks page the mag was a load of rubbish new contributors new editor and guess what as always with cbg when it reinvents itself the old favourite the bsa goldstarat least 6 pages worth, i thought i was having a timewarp moment because when it went to the large format reinvent, guess what was in yes umpteen pages of bsa goldstar ,now i,m not against the bsa goldstar but its wearing thin ,it took me 30 minutes to read the whole mag, then that was £3.99 down the toilet ,mortons will have to be careful with the cbg title it looks to me like its coming to the end of the road,i just hope they don,t start tweaking the classic motorcycle or the magazine job will be trashed (real classics is a great read apart from pub talk )and classic bike is a load of cwallop what says you?

Have to agree CGC isn't the mag it used to be, bought it myself yesterday and read it in no time. Will have to subscribe to Real Classics.

Totally agree about Real Classics, they even printed my picture of the West Riding mob! PUB talk is far too intellectual for me, but I read everything else. Perfect reading for the smallest room.
