The problem with mice eating the sound proofing on the engine of my pals Freelander seems to have been solved…. A generous application of WD 40 back in January seems to have deterred the little varmints……He has also used fine aluminium mesh over the heater air intake due to the fact his last vehicle, a Honda CR-v, the mice got into the blower housing, eating their way through the casing and wiring then started on the upholstery – that’s the problem of living out in the sticks……..Many thanks to you all for help and suggestions…..BR Phil
