I recently went to a bike show, on the way out I out, heard 2 groups discussing the cost of the show, and what was on offer. bascly they were not happy.
Personly I agreed with them.
Stafford seems to be the only one that I feel is a real value for mony event.

I paid £16 for the recent Scottish Motorcycle Show, and although I can understand people thinking it's a lot of money for, basically, a visit to a big bike showroom and some bike stalls, I think of it as a good day out.
Nice ride through, meet some friends, have a look at and sit on some new bikes without any sales pressure, buy some new gloves and a few other bits and pieces, see the stunt rider show and off home after a full day's entertainment.
Compare it to a ticket for a football match, and it's probably a bargain!

I know what you mean about the price getting out of control. That equivalent show here costs us 19 pounds to see including parking and admission. We don't even have the enjoyment of riding a bike to it because it's always in January here and it's typically about -20C and snow everywhere.
