Hi guys-------- to be honest that exhaust system is destined for my No2 Bullet ( That's the one currently being re-built to emulate an Army despatch riders bike --1950's --- Suez Canal period---in Desert Sand. ).... I do have a brand new, complete system for the No1 bike shown here but I've yet to shorten the original "Long Tom" silencer...This bike has acted as a Test-Bed during the last 18 months to find a good, overall set-up re}--- power, economy and looks... I've opted for our hosts 8:1 forged piston--- Alloy barrel--- Mikcarb jetted to suit ( Later on the "Army" bike will have a 30mm Monobloc fitted..)--19t sprocket --- Tea Caddy filter..Std.cams, valves, etc...Internally both bikes will be the same but the "Army" bike will retain the TLS front brake whilst this one keeps the disc...Also I hope to fit an SR1 magneto..(Hello again, BW ).... YES !! We will be in attendance on MM's-Day! (ie not quite D-Day !!)

Nice one, Alan! Looking nicely patinated & personal, and I can't wait to see the military version you're fettling.

Weekend should bring easier temperatures for a bimble, so go enjoy!

Very nice, Alan. I will keep a look out for it next time I am up in Telford. Some weeks ago, on a freezing day, I was up at Asda in Donington and there was a rather smart Bullet Classic parked outside. Not yours, by any chance??Must confess - I was in the car, so whoever it was I admire their fortitude!
