Well as Paul has asked for an early reminder about MadMikes Gathering here it is. It will be on Sunday 2nd June at The Bulls Head (that's a pub incidentally) On the A47 in Leicestershire abouy 4 miles north of Mallory Park. The Bulls Head is a family pub with a great selection of beer, and great food....from a cheese sandwich to steaks, and curry to a Sunday Carvery. The Gthaering starts at about 11:00am when the pub opens, and finishes when the last person goes home, and that is usually me. ALL Classic Bikes, including Enfields, regardless of nationality, and Hinckley Bonnevilles are more than welcome. So please come along and meet some great people, some crazy people and spend the day among some great classic bikes. oh yes nearly forgot......I have ordered lovely sunny weather. See you there. Other reminders will appear at boringly regular intervals.

Hello MADMIKE----- yes, I'd LOVE to attend this G T Haering that you have arranged...Is it some sort of local Leicestershire "thing" that dates back to a pre- "Time Team" era of flint,Mammoth, wode and spears ( oh no---that's todays' Leicestershire, isn't it ?)-oops !!---- Yep, I'll be there and bring some "Classic" mates as well-------

Hi Alan I/we look forward to seeing you here in deepest darkest Leicestershire again. The Gathering is an historical event which has occured in Leicestershire since the middle ages...........well 2009 actually. Everybody is welcome and try and bring your classics as well. If she says she isn't going out with all those smelly motorcyclists then simply bring an old bike instead. Keep posting so that this stays near the top as then I will not have to keep retyping it, or searching back through the archives to resurrect it. See you all there.
