hi mike i,ve just been on ebay and have seen a guy in chard somerset using your monicker madmike!! is he a imposter ,or long lost relative cidre brewer i wonder? 2 mad mikes who,d have thought it!!i,m not sure i,ll be able to attend your bike doo in june as i will be at the big knock diesel bike rally although i may be able to bob in late sunday depending on where the round britain rally clues take my fellow smoker anyway put another thread on here to remind people some of our group may come down and camp again i,ll let you know atb paul.

Hi Paul, I haven't lived in Somerset for 16 years, and have no relatives there. What was he selling? Did you get the ebay number so that I can have a look at the impersonator. I bet he's not even Mad.

Hi Arch. I am always and only ever known as MadMike (the spelling is always the same) on all sites that I visit, be they classic bike, engineering or digital photography related. I am called MadMike because my name is Michael.....the rest you must figure out for yourself, but the clue is that I ride my bikes very sedately, LOL. Only lived in Somerset for a few years, job related you understand, and then emigrated, again with work, to Leicestershire about 16 years ago. Originally Hampshire based. I suspect we are probably not related except through bikes or beer perhaps. Where are you currently based?

just a point i have been a member of this forum for years and have posted under the name of mad99mike as per my ebay acc and ur right i am in somerset and have a number of uk enfields and indian ones as well to list a few meteor minor crusader model g bullet 1956 also thunderbird lightning 350 trials 500 trials 500 bullet 350 army any way the 500 trialer and others are for sale as too many saddles andd only one b#m
