hi to all west riding types ,iam busy gettin g the quiz ready for the next meeting on the 7th of february at 8pm the rally calendar is building already
1.first weekend in june THE BIG KNOCK RALLY IN WEST SUSSEX subject to confirmation
2.john moulton,s welsh extraveganza 26th july -28th welsh run + racing at anglesey ,please correct me john if the date is incorrect.
3. knitting patterns will be available at the next meeting for the less adventurous riders in our group!!

Hi Paul! You're just like me , when it's not possible to ride due to ice, snow etc. then you plan rides. You're correct with the dates for our Wales weekend. I've planned a route and I will be testing it in March. I'm including plenty of food/drink and toilet stops to make a steady and enjoyable ride down on the Friday. I'd love to do the Big Knock as well, but I will probably be in the U.S.A. in early June. Keep planning - it passes the time when you can't ride! I forgot to ask, how did you get on with Juan's tail light unit electrics? ATB John

hi john ,i,m glad ive got the date for wales correct!!i,m sure your route will be superb and i can,t wait for the weekend!!juans tail light turned out to be a rubbed through wire in the rear mudguard loom !!the silly indians had routed it in between the edge of the mudguard sandwiched between the plastic lower guard ,i replaced his back light with the 1953 style bullet 1 complete with his black & silver plate it looks vintage!!juan is very happy no more fuse blowing!!atb paul.

the finger is still in a splint but i recon i can get a glove on this snow should be gone by the next meeting ,although i have so much kit to bring to the reindeer i,ll have to come in the car (doh!)when i retire in september someone else will have to hump the gear around leaving me free to get on with the main job riding the bikes ,on another note i,m just reading phil irving,s autobiography its like a bible !!be seeing ya!
