just thought i,d mention this to the masses of enfield fans on here i am just reading a book called ONE LIFE TO RIDE ,an indian bestseller by ajitt harisinghani its about his motorcycle journey to the himalayas from his home in pune on his beloved 350 bullet and i will tell you this i,ve nearly read it over the last 2 nights !!my thanks go to john moulton for lending me the book ,atb paul.

Grunda 12 will Mr. Moulton let me read it next , sound interesting ! He may be there on Thursday so I,ll ask.....

i,m not sure i follow your thread alan ? hi john and juan i,ve finished the book read it over 2 sessions and it was a great read thanks john ,i will be riding the renault scenic diesel as my finger is still wearing a splint !!!also avon roadburners may not be good in this weather ,it got down to -5 at emerly moor last night so by thursday it could be chilly at the reindeer ,i have my pipe well stalked atb paul.

Ive read this book on my Kindle reader. So for those with an e reader, just type Royal Enfield into the search and lots of good stuff will come up.

I enjoyed the honest self deprecating way in which it was written.
