Ex-Bullet owner calls in

Hi all
I just thought I'd say hello and Season's Greetings to all in Enfield land...since selling the Bullet and acquiring the Guzzi, I have still been monitoring this Forum with interest, amusement and astonishment (as appropriate, and often simultaneously). I haven't been able to get the Bullet out of my mind, but have to say I love the new Guzzi to bits. It has now had its first service (and taking it to the dealers and seeing my old Bullet for sale was a very strange experience - not altogether a good one). The engine (being a Guzzi) is only just starting to loosen up, beginning to get that lovely "racing tractor" feel, with the torque about equivalent to two and a half Bullets. Riding style is still bizarrely similar to the Enfield, in that revving it is useless, but riding the torque is the only way of making rapid progress. I have taken it to several customer sites in the course of "work", and it is so lovely on the motorway - I have to say, so much easier to ride than the Enfield, though lacking that single thump. Having said that, the lovely V-twin rumble is rapidly becoming addictive with every mile - and the service intervals are a revelation to an ex-Enfield owner!!!
Will keep in touch with all you Bulleteers...and you keep a lookout for a looney on a white Guzzi in the London area!
Cheers
