After seeing your videos, Frank, I did get a chest harness for the camera but felt I preferred to have a clearer view. https://youtu.be/BkwDcSbAz2E
With the screen fitted, though, that wasn't straightforward (nothing ever seems to be...) as there were reflections from the speedometer and tripper. I also had to make my own camera mount platform. But all seems to work well now.

The sound on your video with the chest harness is great, but when you have the camera mounted on the bike, it is, to put it bluntly, blood awful!
How about a chin mounted camera a la Noraly

Yes I agree the sound is dreadful. I don't think the sticky pad would adhere to my beard...
I did try mounting it on my peak but watching the film after made me giddy as I seem to turn my head rather a lot. No, we'll stick with where it is but work on the sound a bit (a lot!). Or dispense with it altogether and edit in appropriate music perhaps.
