Many years ago I heard the writer Marghanita Laski talking about her family referring to the pleasure of kicking through dried autumn leaves when out on country walks and then using that expression for other simple things, like scrunching over frozen grass. To me, the pleasure of riding my Royal Enfield is very 'Through Leaves'.
