Beware 'Ringers' on ebay.

Just a heads up. There are a couple of tidy, but unexciting RE Bullets being offered for sale by auction apparently, with guide prices of £5000. The descriptions [B.S.] suggest they are British, mid sixties, etc, yawn ... , but some people might not realize this, so I am just trying to help any who might not know the difference, that these machines are not special or valuable in any way, so don't waste your hard earned on funding a con man [or woman] in trying to rip the innocent off. Pictures show them next to a swimming pool and they are worth about half the suggested value on a good day.

For that money you can buy a barely used, 650 twin.....with a warranty.

I'd seen those as well. It makes me wonder how well/accurately that company describes its other auction lots.

It looks to me that the frames have the “Indian made” through bolt above the gearbox. Seeing that the British built bikes didn’t have this, how can these bikes date back to the Redditch factory?

Yes, spotted them. Nearly as good as a previous very rare most sought after 350 for £5800.

And now a Bullet for £10.000.
