I doubt that the thing unlocking itself will be an issue, any more than if it was clipped on a suitcase! The supplied combination to unlock the hasp is 0-0-0 (it’s resettable, but there’s no need) and I’ll only be changing the numbers to read the last three digits showing on the main odometer before I set off, mainly as a reminder of when I last refuelled the bike.
