Would one of you kind people tell me! :D

Looking at the current model, they seem to show different power. I’m not focussing on tiny differences, but big things.
I see both are EFI. Can either be converted to carb?
Besides styling, what is the difference?

Thanks.

John

Current 500 models all quote 27.2 hp.
Not sure where your seeing different specs.
They use the same engine and running gear with some differences in the frame mounts for seats and racks.
Wheel size used to be different, some with 19 front and 18 rear and some with 19 front and rear.
Euro3 ( no abs) had an 18 tooth gearbox sprocket, this was reduced to a 17 wih euro4 for some reason.
They can be converted to carb if required.

Thanks Haggis. A clear, succinct answer which tells me everything I needed.
You’re right, the RE site confirms same power, I was looking elsewhere.

Cheers.
