The original Woodsman pipe was 1.5" O/D with a 1.75" stub welded on at each end (so no good for a 350). I've had a couple of these from our hosts. However with their repro pipes they didn't bother with the stub at the silencer end and just left it at 1.5".
Some time in the early naughties(?) RE India started putting 1.75" stubs on the silencer end of the 350 down pipes such as yours, presumably as it was easier and cheaper just to stock and fit a common silencer for the 350s and 500s.
